Rollin et Feuardent, Catalog of a collection of Roman medals en vente a l'amiable, with the fixed prices in each number. Premiere and second party. As, imperial Roman families, jusqu'à Pupien, Cherbourg Typ. et Lith. Ch. Feuardent, Paris, London sd, pp. 462, 18, 16 cm, splendid coeval half-canvas binding, gold titles and decorations on the spine, plates and endpapers in fine marbled paper.
Without a printing date, the volume reports in addition to the main address of the famous Parisian auction house, rue Vivienne 12, that of the first London branch, Haymarket 27, founded in 1867, which in January 1873 was moved to Great Russel Street. It can be deduced that the text was printed from 1867 to 1872.
The volume is enriched by a file, linked to the end of the catalogue, on pp. 18, of which 5 written in elegant contemporary handwriting, with an index of imperial coins.
In excellent condition. Very rare.
