Raffaello Mondini, Gleaning between medals and dates (1848-1870-71), Raffaello Giusti Publisher, Livorno 1913, pp. XVII, 479, richly illustrated, 28 cm, elegant binding in all canvas ed. with gold titles within embossed gusset on the back and front plate, sprayed upper cut.

The work is fundamental for the study of Italian Risorgimento medals, presenting a very large number of medals with in-depth historical annotations and continuous references to texts and documents, ranging from the smallest medal of minimal artistic value to the famous masterpieces of the great nineteenth-century engravers.

Slight traces of use on the binding, minimal blooms on cuts, interior in excellent condition.
