In addition: Mittheilungen des Clubs der Munz und Medaillenfreunde in Wien - Musiker Medaillen, interesting collection, created for study purposes, of excerpts from the early twentieth century concerning medals mainly with a musical theme, pp. 72 interspersed with blank sheets for notes, 28 cm, splendid coeval binding in half parchment with plates and endpapers in fine peacock tail paper, gold titles and fillets on morocco inserts on the spine.
On the first volume there are traces of use on the plates, some annotations in red ballpoint pen, however the copy is in very good condition. Second volume in excellent condition.

The lawyer Antonio Santarelli was a member of the Government Commission of Fine Arts, Royal Inspector of excavations and monuments, director of the Pinacoteca and Civic Museums of Forlì. He carried out numerous excavations in the surroundings of Forlì, Villanova, Vecchiazzano and in other places. We owe him the foundation of the first nucleus of what is today the National Archaeological Museum of Sarsina. The Civic Archaeological Museum of Forlì is named after Antonio Santarelli, whose very foundation is due to his work. In this volume, Santarelli describes the ancient, medieval, modern coins and the medieval, modern and pontifical medals preserved in the city museum of Forlì.

Elegant bookplate inside the front plate. In the work there is also a nice bookmark of the firm Dr. Busso Peus Nachf. Frankfurt, with pencil notes, from which it is clear that the same was sold by the same company during the 1996 auction.

The volume, which houses the work, the two supplements and the precious relics described, constitutes a unicum of considerable documentary interest in the field of medal and numismatic literature.
