€15.00Anastatic. Numismatic literature insert, edited by Luca Lombardi, Bari, a. II, vol. II, 2018, pp. 50, ill. bn and col., cm 28, br. and.
Collecting all the published for the year 2018 by Anastatica. Numismatic literature insert, published in nos. 97, 98, 99, 101, 102 of the magazine Monete Antiche, this volume presents the continuation of the work of A. Dieudonné and J. Florange Choix de monnaies et médailles du Cabinet de France. Monnaies grecques d'Italie et de Sicile, published in Paris in 1913, whose first pages of the reprint found space in Anastatica of 2017. The anastatic revival of the interesting Parisian contribution was exceptionally interrupted to make room for the presentation article, created by Giuseppe Ruotolo - president of the Mediterranean Society of Numismatic Metrology -, of the Numismatic Cultural Encounter in the Gargano Langobardorum Nummorum Doctrina National Park. In the Appendix is a report - not published in the insert of Ancient Coins - of the award ceremony of the “Biblionumis” Prize for numismatic research, held on the occasion of the aforementioned cultural event. This competition aims to encourage the scientific study of coins and to recognize with a tangible sign those who have made a significant contribution to the progression and dissemination of knowledge relating to the subject. The Prize is held annually and consists in the awarding of an artistic bronze medal.
