Ex libris by John Pedersen, Boras (Sweden), first half of the 20th century, 57x49 mm on cardboard 210x155 mm.
John Pedersen (1890-1960), numismatist and founder of J. Pedersen Mynthandel, a historic Scandinavian company specializing in numismatics that still exists today. Initially an entrepreneur in the clothing sector, John Pedersen left this sector to devote himself to antiques. It is known that during an auction in 1930, he acquired a chest full of coins. This aroused in him the interest in numismatics, so much so that he was convinced to sell all the antiques in his possession to devote himself exclusively to coins and medals.
In excellent condition. Extremely rare.
